A letter from our Programme Manager - How we can help you
The UK Spinal Cord Injury Research Network promotes and organises multi-centre clinical research with spinal cord injured people to improve their health care and well being.
The project was launched in March 2003 in recognition of the need for a collaborative approach to provide high quality research to help decision making in the field of spinal cord injuries. The Network is a national initiative, supported by leading spinal cord injury centres, allied universities and professional associations. UKSCIRN is an NIHR Partnership Organisation who awards funding through a process of open competition. Applications for funding are encouraged from all UK Centres and international collaborations in conjunction with UK Centres are also considered.
Want to become more involved? UKSCIRN are now seeking Coordinators for each UK Spinal Injury Centre in order to encourage collaborations within research. Please click here to see a description of this role.
