Information about Public Involvement

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is a fundamental consideration for UKSCIRN (http://www.rds-sc.org/public-patient-involvement/).  We work in partnership with service users in a variety of ways, for example on our recent NIHR application a steering committee represented users who were also consulted during the development of the proposal.

UKSCIRN also has user representation on the Executive Committee (SIA) and work alongside specialists and charitable representatives (SIT, ASPIRE) to  develop research and strengthen infrastructure which supports researchers into spinal cord injury.
